Rockdale Emergency Relief Fund
The Rockdale Emergency Relief Fund is a food pantry, clothing bank, and emergency financial support for families in Rockdale county. St. Simon's is proud to have provided food, clothing, books, and school supplies to keep their shelves stocked. In 2017, we've donated 106 bags of food, 250 pounds of fresh produce from our community garden, 5 bins of men's clothing, and 4 bins of children's sock and underwear.

C. J. Hicks Elementary School
C.J. Hicks is our local elementary school and we have worked with them to keep their kids well supplied and well fed. Last summer we packed 900 lunches for local kids who normally receive school lunches and kicked off the school year with a blessing of the backpacks. We are currently collecting school supplies which will be delivered to the school in August.

Meals on Wheels
St. Simon's is a proud partner of Meals and Wheels and has coordinated with them to provide regular, nutritious meals to seniors. Meals on Wheels also provides education and community, improving quality of life by connecting seniors to the community around them.

Appleton Episcopal Ministries
Appleton Episcopal Ministries is a branch of the Diocese of Georgia that provides financial and logistical support to after school and summer programs for children in the Diocese of Georgia. St. Simon's is proud to have worked with them this year to help provide summer programming for kids and is developing summer programming for kids in Rockdale county.

Diocese of Atlanta
The Diocese of Atlanta is the governing body of the Episcopal church in the Atlanta metro area. St. Simon's is a proud member of the Diocese and coordinates with them in many ways both behind the scenes and in visible programming. After a period of financial hardship, we are excited to have resumed our diocesan apportionment and are now voting members of the Diocesan Council! We look forward to many years of mutual support and growth.

Rockdale County Cooperative Extension
The County Cooperative Extension is a service of Rockdale county that provides training and support for food safety, nutrition, childcare, leadership, and citizenship for youth and adults in Rockdale county. St. Simon's is a proud to be a resources for them and is pursuing further engagement with their health and nutritional education programming.
